Welcome to Smiley Kids The Orchards, a special place for your child to play and learn.
My name is Bernice Janse Van Rensburg, and I am honoured to be part of the Smiley Kids Association. I am a qualified ODEPT Practitioner and have a passion for working with children. I find great pleasure in seeing children grow and develop into the best little people they can be.
Our school was established on 1 April 2010. We have also received Platinum Awards for the last 3 years. This means we strive to give quality education to our children and provide a excellent service to our parents. We aim to make this your child's second home.
As a "one-stop-service we provide the following services:
* Baby Centre consisting of 2 classes, 3-12 months and a 1-2 class.
* Toddler Classes from 2 years up to 5 years old.
* Grade R
* Aftercare (homework support up until Grade 7)
* We also have CCTV cameras installed in all our classes to set your mind at ease.
* Extra Mural Activities
* We are open during school holidays and have a holiday programme for our children.
* We follow a balanced menu. Our Baby menu was develop by a dietician.
We are open from a Monday to a Friday:
Monday - Thurday: 06:00am to 18:00pm
Fridays: 06:00am to 17:30pm.
We have 25 staff members working at the school, and we train our staff annually on Fire Fighting, First Aid, and Occupational Health and Safety.
